About us
The Backstitcher Co. is a small needlepoint accessories business based in Raleigh, North Carolina, owned and run by Alisha Davis. You can reach us anytime at thebackstitcherco@gmail.com.
Products
We do our best to describe and photograph every product accurately. Colors can look slightly different from screen to screen, and small variations can happen with enamel, leather and hand-painted items. Product sizes are listed on each product page. If something is not included (for example, a canvas or thread with a mahjong sleeve), we say so in the listing.
Pricing and payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Shipping and any applicable sales tax are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is processed securely by our payment provider, and we do not store your full card number. Prices may change from time to time. If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we will contact you before your order ships and give you the choice to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Orders
After you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation. We may cancel an order if an item is unavailable or if we cannot verify payment. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
Shipping, returns and refunds
We currently ship within the United States only. Shipping costs, processing times and delivery details are on our Shipping page. Returns, exchanges and refunds are covered by our Refund and Returns Policy.
Digital patterns
Digital patterns are delivered as downloadable PDF files after payment. Because they are delivered instantly, digital patterns are not returnable or refundable. If you have trouble opening or downloading your file, email us and we will help. When you buy a digital pattern, you receive a personal-use license, which means you may:
- Download and print the pattern for your own use
- Stitch the design for yourself or as a gift
You may not share, copy, resell, or redistribute the pattern files or printed copies, paint and sell canvases from our patterns, or use our designs for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Our designs and content
All designs, photos, text, logos and patterns on this website belong to The Backstitcher Co. and are protected by copyright. Please do not copy or use them without our permission.
Wholesale
Wholesale orders are covered by the terms on our Wholesale page and our wholesale line sheet.
Limitation of liability
Our products are sold for hobby and personal use. To the extent allowed by law, The Backstitcher Co. is not responsible for indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
